Hide the Veggies!

My kids used to eat everything. They used to not be picky eaters. They used to be the best eaters in the whole wide world. Their grandparents would brag about how they would eat whatever was put in front of them.

Until last month. *cue tears*

Birdie now refuses to eat vegetables. Any of them. All of them. I don’t know why. They used to be her favorite thing to eat. Now I have to bribe her in some way, just to eat two peas. It makes me so sad. Tot isn’t quite there yet, but he’s starting to throw green items because Birdie causes such a stink.

 

We are huge on smoothies though. We frequent our local Smoothie King and their latest and greatest are smoothies with VEGETABLES. I know that’s not exactly new, but, get this… The kids LOVE them.

    I think all kids go through that stage. They do make their way back. We sure do love our smoothies. I don’t have a Smoothie King near us but, we do make them at home ever morning! Thanks for sharing and I hope your kids start liking veggies again soon 🙂

  • I love this concept and have been following it for years. For myself. Whether it comes to soups, stews or sauces, there are more veggies packed into the recipe than appears!
